India: There are three defence forces in the Indian defence system. They are Military, Air Force, Navy. These defence forces are under the control of the Union Minister of Defence.

It is headquartered in New Delhi. The Air Force was formed on October 8, 1932, during British rule. This force participated in World War II.

The Indian Air Force (Indian Air Force) was formed after the country emerged as a republic. With a crew of 1.70 lakh, the Indian Air Force is the fourth largest air force in the world with 1300 aircraft.

Indian Air Force Day is celebrated annually on October 8 in recognition of Air Force services.

The Indian Air Force aircraft arrived on April 1, 1933.

The Air Force plays the most crucial role among the three Indian forces. The National Air Force is advancing most effectively in conducting air strikes to knock down enemy forces in times of war while protecting our national airspace. Stands as a nickname for commitment.

The Indian Air Force has retained its uniqueness in the world. The Indian Air Force was first formed on October 8, 1932. The word Royal was added to the Indian Air Force in 1945 in recognition of the services rendered by the Air Force during World War II.

After the independence of our country in 1947, the Royal Indian Air Force served our country. After the formation of our country as a republic in 1950, the Royal Indian Air Force was transformed into the Costa Indian Air Force.

Earlier, the word ‘Royal’ was removed. After independence, the Indian Air Force engaged in four rounds of war with Pakistan and one round of war with China.

The Indian Air Force effectively carried out key responsibilities under special circumstances such as Operation Vijay, Operation Meghdoot and Operation Cactus. If that is the case with wars, then our country’s air force has been extremely active in United Nations peacekeeping missions.

The Indian Air Force, with a crew of 1.70 lakh, is the fourth largest air force in the world with 1300 aircraft. The US Air Force is in first place, the Russian Air Force is in second place and the Chinese Air Force is in third place. The IAF undertook extensive modernization programs to replace Soviet-era warplanes.

The functions of the Indian Air Force are clearly enshrined in the 1947 Armed Forces Act, the Constitution of India, and the Air Force Act of 1950. The Indian Air Force is ready to defend our country from all sides.

The Air Force, in collaboration with other armed forces, plays a vital role in protecting our airspace, protecting our territory, as well as racial interests and protecting our country from all kinds of challenges.

Providing necessary support to the Indian Army on the battlefield. It is transporting soldiers along with the necessary kits to the required place in the air. Meanwhile, the space division is managed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in an integrated space cell for the efficient use of the country’s space equipment used for military purposes.

The Indian Air Force took over the defense. It is also working with other military forces to rescue victims in times of natural disasters. The Indian Air Force is playing a leading role in providing relief supplies to the victims in the affected areas.

The Indian Air Force carried out extensive relief operations during the 1998 Gujarat cyclone and 2004 tsunami disasters. Operation Rainbow in Sri Lanka has been helping other countries as well.

The first aircraft of the Indian Air Force was the Vapiti Westland. The first squadron formed then. On April 1, 1933, the first force was formed with five Indian pilots. It remained the number one squadron until 1938. In 1943 the Air Force had four squadrons.

Increased to nine by 1945. After the declaration of independence, the Union of India split into the Dominion of Pakistan.

The division of the military took place in the same way. The Indian Air Force remains the Royal Indian Air Force. The Royal Indian Air Force emblem became the wheel taken from the Ashoka Chakra.

The current Air Force emblem was established in 1950 when the word royal was removed. The Indian Air Force provided outstanding services during the 1960-61 liberation of Goa from the Congo crisis.

In 1962, a border dispute between China and India led to war. Although Indian military strategists failed to detect conspiracies during the Sino-Indian War, they used the Indian Air Force most effectively against Chinese forces.

India made extensive use of its air force in the wake of the Sino-Indian war experience in the 1965 war with Pakistan. Then increased troop capacity.

The Air Force was credited with conducting a variety of operations during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani Bangladesh Liberation War. The Indian Air Force, which originated nearly eight decades ago, has been involved in wars and relief operations.

It stands in defense of the territory of India as well as the citizens of our country. While the President of our country acts as the Supreme Commander for all the Armed Forces, the Defense Division headed by the Minister of Defense oversees the Indian Air Force.

It is indirectly led by the Prime Minister and the National Security Council, who design the government’s security policy.

The Air Chief Marshal will head the Air Force, administering the Air Force Headquarters. Arup Raha is currently the Chief Marshal of the Air Force.

The Indian Air Force Day is celebrated on October 8 every year in recognition of the services of the Air Force that are protecting the country in all possible ways.
